Remote work with frequent travel to our site in Reinach (Switzerland, BL)



YOUR MISSION :



As a Junior Sales reporting to the Business Development Director, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development of the Aroma ingredient business globally, delivering exceptional customer service, managing project workflows and ensuring smooth coordination across departments. You will be the backbone of the sales process, ensuring timely execution of customer requests, sample shipments, documentation, and internal communications. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the flavor, fragrance, and aroma ingredients industry, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. It includes a 10% travel time.



YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Sales Coordination & Support:

Manage and track customer projects from initiation to completion, including sample requests, pricing, regulatory documentation, and stability data.

Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing Communication, Customer Service, Regulatory, Quality, Operations) to ensure timely delivery of customer needs.

Maintain and update project management systems (CRM platform CDP, Arkieva) with accurate data on product bases, timelines, and customer feedback.

Support in monitoring sales KPI and opportunity pipeline.



Customer Communication

Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely and professional responses.

Support the Business Development Director in preparing presentations, reports, and customer communications.

Ensure consistent follow-up and proactive problem-solving to enhance customer satisfaction.



Administrative & Operational Support

Organize sample shipment and documentation flow.

collaboration with supply chain to provide customer volume forecasts.

Assist in preparing regulatory files, pricing offers, and commercial contracts.



Event & Exhibition Support

Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of customer events, trade shows, and industry exhibitions.

Manage logistics, promotional materials, and on-site support to ensure a seamless experience.

Collaborate with marketing and business teams to align event goals with business objectives.



TECHNICAL SKILLS




Required




Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Chemistry, Food Science, or related field. Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a sales support or administrative role, ideally in the Flavor & fragrance, Aroma ingredients industry or biotech/chemical ingredients industry. English fluent and/or any other language like French, German or Spanish are a plus. Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM/project management tools.

An asset




Previous experience in the Flavor & Fragrances, aroma ingredients sector, biotech or chemical ingredients industry. Experience working in B2B with international customers and cross-functional teams. Understanding of the Flavor & Fragrances industry, Food & Beverages Industry, fermentation-based ingredients or natural product sourcing with a technical background.
