The Position

As a Junior Supply chain Planner & Analyst (m/f/d) you will play a key role in the optimization of our value chain. Together with your team, you will monitor and manage the supply of mineral oil and biofuel products over Varo Network. In close coordination with various departments, such as trading, sales, supply and operations, you will keep an eye on our production capacity and develop yourself further in a dynamic environment. You will draw up long-, medium- and short-term plans and maintain close contact with our terminals and our partners, thus making a decisive contribution to our security of supply.

You will also gathering and evaluate essential information necessary for making well-informed decisions in the Supply Chain domain. This includes factors such as weather patterns, transportation price forecasts, performance evaluations, and average waiting times at loading ports.

Your key responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of all tools in supply chain management.

• You will be responsible for setting up and managing a monthly supply and demand plan for heating oil, gasoline, diesel fuel as well as JET-A1 and biofuels, taking into account production planning and demand.\\n
• You monitor and optimize product inventories based on agreed inventory targets and delivery targets in collaboration with the management of our tank farms.\\n
• You support the management and implementation of supply with colleagues in the Supply Chain Operations team.\\n

Your profile - Essential

• Bachelor / Master degree or equivalent

• Business administration, operations management or Supply Chain management\\n

• Fluent in English, preferably in German too.

• Good command of analytic tools (Excel, BI, Statistic tools etc)\\n
• Solid, structured, analytical thinker\\n
