Position
An exciting opportunity to join a busy client accounting team as a junior accountant. You should ideally have some trust accounting knowledge, but not essential. Working as part of a busy team in English primarily, you will be supporting the trust teams of the front office, in all aspects of client accounting. This includes bookkeeping, processing payments, handling accounts receivable/payable, and assisting with financial reporting. Key tasks will involve:

Working as part of a busy team in English primarily, you will be supporting the trust teams of the front office, in all aspects of client accounting. This includes bookkeeping, processing payments, handling accounts receivable/payable, and assisting with financial reporting. Key tasks will involve:
- Updating general ledgers and reconciling multi-currency bank accounts
- Maintaining and reconciling investment portfolios (quoted/unquoted securities, real estate, private equity, vessels, art)
- Liaising with trust administrators and third parties to gather missing documentation
- Assisting in preparing simple and complex financial statements, audit packs, cash and expense reports, and tax returns
Profile
- Junior candidate with some accounting/bookkeeping experience
- CFC/BTEC or higher education preferred
- Any trust accounting experience a plus but not a must
- Comfortable with journal entries, reconciliations, and handling figures
- Accounting Diploma an asset but not essential
- A committed and diligent team player happy with a busy workload
- Able to commit to a full-time, permanent contract (no home office)
- Strong MS office (Excel for manual entries) + accounting softwares
- Fluent English speaker; some French a nice to have
- Already based in the Geneva area with a valid Swiss work permit (frontalier OK)
