Internship in the Drug Coating Development Department

This role will be located at the Bulach, Switzerland location (referred to as Biotronik AG), which is responsible for the development, production and marketing of balloon catheters and drug-coated stent systems.

Starting in March 2026, we are seeking a highly qualified intern for a six-month placement at our Bulach location.

Please note that only candidates who are currently enrolled as students will be considered.

Your Responsibilities

Support development and/or optimization of existing drug-containing formulations for drug-device combination products (Class III) Conduct testing (e.g. physical analysis) of drug-coated medical devices Collaborate closely with the prototyping team for R&D sample manufacturing and testing

Your Profile

Degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, or medical technology Good knowledge of MS Office, DoE, C++, and CAD is an advantage Good command of German and English
