We are looking for an exceptional Key Account Manager passionate about outdoor to join the Sales Team of The North Face and be based in Stabio, Switzerland.

The Key Account Manager of The North Face will plan , drive an execute the long-term strategy with selected Key accounts in Germany and some specialist customers in Switzerland.

Strategic plans will be transformed into thorough Go To market seasonal plans supported by clear analysis on Sales, product categories, gender and geo performance and helping to develop customized merchandising plan to support the brand strategy and achieve sustainable growth and mutual profitability. The Key Account manager will take on revenue responsibility and he or she will manage the defined key accounts.

He or she is also responsible for the implementation of the brands strategic orientation, for the maintenance of customer relationships as well as for the expansion of the business within the Key Account. The job holder will be the contact person for key stakeholder at account level (Sales Management / Buying / merchandising team ), he or she will be planning, implementing and supervising the following tasks: annual meetings with customers; term planning, product planning and line presentations, as well as conducting product and sales trainings.. Furthermore, she or he will be key contact internally with the brand key stakeholders (Sales management / Marketing / Merchandising / Multi Channel Operations ) within the GTM calendar milestones.

How you\\xe2\\x80\\x99ll make a difference:
  • Create, review and present assortment plan on a seasonal base. The plans should be developed using most current trends, in the marketplace, ABC list, evaluations of business and direction of company
  • Analyze sales, performance by item, division, use this knowledge and trend direction to provide recommendations to maximize opportunities and limit liabilities
  • Establish and understanding of consumers and buying trends. Formulate guidelines for consumer centric opportunities, taking into consideration the different kind of consumers per each POS.
  • Review and make recommendations to support purchases. Provide guidelines for current on order and future purchases.
  • Internal reporting to the Sales Director
  • Customer classification maintenance (distribution channel, nation and organization)
  • Sell out analysis process and development of new tools based on the application of the company strategy
  • Provide requested analysis to the Area Sales Director
  • Work closely with the product department to develop the right assortment of product and to ensure business decisions are based on accurate sales information
What makes you the perfect Key Account Manager?

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for the individual to be successful in this position.
  • Experience: must have a minimum of 2 years of account management for FMCG or major sport brands
  • Fluent in English and German, knowledge of French or Italian is a plus
  • Must have technical knowledge or understanding of online business
  • Must have a deep knowledge or understanding of the European sporting goods and/or outdoor industry and values
  • Must have experience with and understanding of outdoor consumers and preferably be an active sports participant
  • Must be very good in creating good relationships with Countries, Key accounts
  • High energy, goal oriented and driven individual
  • Analytical and strategic
  • Great at getting things done
A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or Master\\xe2\\x80\\x99s degree in Economics are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
