We are seeking a driven and results-oriented

Key Account Manager

to strengthen our presence in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. This role is pivotal to our growth strategy and focuses on nurturing trusted client relationships, driving customer satisfaction, and expanding our footprint within strategic accounts.





The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in enterprise sales and account management within cybersecurity or IT services, combined with an in-depth understanding of Microsoft Security solutions. Native-level German and fluency in English are essential.




Key Responsibilities:



Account Management






Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, developing long-term, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. Achieve growth targets by identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Understand client needs, challenges,
business and security priorities to ensure measurable business outcomes.
Take full ownership of the commercial relationship, including contract negotiations, renewals and account planning. Coordinate internal resources to deliver seamless service and ensure client success. Represent the client's voice internally, influencing product, service, and innovation roadmaps. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and delivery teams to design and execute account-specific strategies. Present compelling proposals and business cases that demonstrate Ontinue's unique value to customers in the Switzerland, Germany and Austria.



Market & Product Expertise






Maintain expert knowledge of Ontinue's SOC and MXDR services
(ION Platform), as well as Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Azure security solutions.
Stay current on cybersecurity trends, the competitive landscape, and local regulatory requirements across Switzerland, Germany & Austria.



Required Experience:






Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field. Proven track record in Key Account Management or Enterprise Sales within IT. Proven success in managing large, complex accounts and achieving revenue targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels. Highly organized, analytical, and proactive, with a consultative mindset. Fluent in English, German
(additional European languages a plus).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.



Nice to haves:




Strong understanding of Microsoft Security solutions. Familiarity with regional data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, BDSG). Network of established relationships within enterprise IT/security communities Background in managed security services, SOC operations or OT Security
