Role Description:

The KYC Officer works directly with the Accountable Client Owner (ACO) responsible for the client relationships, AFC and other stakeholders to complete client KYC Event Driven Reviews, ensuring strict adherence to Deutsche Bank\'s KYC / Anti Money Laundering (AML) Compliance requirements. Further, the role also fulfils important support functions in the non-financial risk management of client relationships, such as analysis of clients\' transaction flow. Today\'s regulatory and compliance environment requires a robust and efficient KYC process and strong non-financial risk management, making the role key to the first line of defence role of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

End to End responsibility for Event Driven Reviews for the Corporate Bank in Switzerland, which includes:

  • Determining if an EDR, ESA, Incremental KYC is required for a specific Event in the Client Life cycle.
  • Logging and keeping track of EDRs.
  • Provide regular Management Information to the Senior Stakeholders of the Bank.
  • Coordinate with respective stakeholders of the Bank and conducting KYC Due diligence for EDRs in line with respective SLEs.
  • Serve as point of contact for EDR related issues.
  • Maintenance of EDR related internal policies.
  • Implementation of new processes if required.

Skills and experience:

  • Preferably Bachelor\'s degree in economy, law or similar.
  • Proven experience in KYC/AML functions.
  • Strong writing skills and fluency in written and spoken English required. German is an Asset.
