Provide support to Head of Legal Treasury and Trading in any legal matter related to UBP Group's treasury & trading departments, financial institutions group, execution and sales desks ("T&T"). In general, contribute to the resolution of legal issues related to T&T, review of agreements related to the trading room, the groups' derivatives and structured products, monitoring of national and international regulations regarding derivatives and structured products. The position may also involve performing administrative tasks.
Main responsibilities
Draft and/or review of prospectus and final terms for structured products issued in-house or externally. Review and negotiation of different agreements related to derivatives (ISDA, CSA, GMRA, GMSLA, clearing agreements, custody agreements, brokerage agreements, CDEA, MFSTA). Review and negotiation of terms & conditions of trading platforms, account opening documents with external correspondent banks, and any other types of documentation related to derivatives. Monitoring of regulations applying to the activities of the trading room and the asset management activities (mainly derivatives). The activities are groupwide (Switzerland, Luxembourg, France, London, Jersey, Singapore and Hong Kong).

The person should have a law degree particularly in the field of international and/or commercial law, if possible with the bar exam, have ideally 1-3 years of experience in the banking or in asset management sector, have a good comprehension of investment products and derivatives. Main language used is English, so good writing and speaking skills in English is a must. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office is also required.

The person must demonstrate willingness to learn and ability to ask questions when he/she is not sure how to handle a case.
