Job Title: Lead Java Developer | Insurance
Duration: Immediate start for an initial 6 months
Location: Zurich
Oliver James are supporting a large insurance programme in Switzerland and are looking for an experienced Lead Java Developer to join a global claims transformation initiative. This is a senior, hands-on role with real ownership - developing and shaping the global insurance platform.
Responsibilities
- Leading the design and development of the global insurance platform
- Analysing and implementing the insurance Group components within the Swiss claims landscape
- Defining local architecture and required enhancements
- Guiding and supporting developers across multiple locations
- Ensuring high code quality through reviews, testing, and best practice
- Working closely with stakeholders to align global standards with local needs
