\\n Lead, HR Operational Excellence - GL D

The Lead, HR Operational Excellence aims to achieve success of business adoption throughout the Human Resources Department\\xe2\\x80\\x99s HR Information Systems (HRIS). They review and analyse process workflows and data needs to leverage technological capabilities across the
HR Department to improve processes and efficiencies. They develop technology priorities and drive HRIS planning and implementation.

They are responsible for maintaining the HRIS for the Global Fund to deliver an optimal employee experience using HR systems, whilst increasing the efficiency and reliability of HR operations and transactions.

They design and implement frameworks to ensure data security and integrity, effective system changes and upgrades, automated and streamlined process management and timely and insightful reporting
and analytics.

They are also responsible for designing and delivering trainings and communications to the HR staff on system changes to support end user
adoption and leverage use of technology across the organization.
They will work in close collaboration with the HR PMO & Advisory & Change function and projects leads to handle change management and communications as appropriate in case of new HR program or
policy implementation impacting the HR technology and systems.

They support the Manager, HR Operational Services with the definition and
implementation of the technology roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager, HR Operational Services, the Lead HR Operational Excellence leads a team of three Associate Specialists for HRIS, Reporting and Analytics, and Process Management.

Their responsibilities will be as follows:
  • Design, implement and execute a framework to maintain overall HRIS system maintenance, performance and support, including technical support, troubleshooting, testing updates, and system training to end users
  • Overseeing management of permissions, access, personalization, system settings and similar system operations
  • Responsible for resolving complex/escalated requests and technical issues
  • Serve as a liaison between HR, information technology, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS projects and manage all vendors supporting HR systems and processes
  • Manage the HRIS configuration, security administration, system updates, and overall functionality/performance with our HRIS vendor
  • Provide system expertise, functional system ownership and technical leadership to the HR Department
  • Work closely with other subject matter experts to ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities
  • Perform HR system testing for system implementations, upgrades, patches, and enhancements
  • Create appropriate user documentation and procedures and assist in managing the implementation of new system functionality
  • Design a plan to increase user adoption through employee and manager self-service activities
  • Design and deliver digital adoption and trainings for HR staff / business end users on HR systems
  • Facilitate organizational & process changes, collaborating with HR Specialists as well as providing communication, training, and execution of projects
  • Act as solution partner and trusted advisor with key stakeholders within the HR Department to optimize the use of the tools, to assist with HR process optimization and standardization
  • Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes to increase efficiency and accuracy by further automating processes
  • Drive the collection of enhancements/requirements, estimation of efforts and business cases and work in close collaboration with the HR PMO & Advisory & Change in view of a prioritization and inclusion in a broader HRIS workplan
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality within all HR technologies and vendor systems, through routine auditing, data validations, and corrective actions
  • Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements
  • Responsible for managing the team including managing performance and employee motivation.

Qualifications

Essential:
  • Masters degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Information Technology, or a related field of study or equivalent combination of certifications and experience
  • Project Management certification
Desirable:
  • Workday certification is an advantage
Experience

Essential:
  • Self-starter with proven ability to work independently and within a team-oriented environment.

  • Understands and uses qualitative/quantitative measurement and data collection design principles.

  • General working knowledge of all HR disciplines (benefits, recruiting, compensation, learning, talent, and time tracking)
  • Strong working knowledge of multiple HR systems, specifically Workday and ServiceNow
  • Prior experience with HR technology projects or HCM implementations
Desirable:
  • At least 7 years HR Systems experience that includes working in a technical support capacity in a SaaS or Cloud environment
