agap2 is a European engineering services company founded in 2005 and specialized in the industry. We work in the Railway, Aviation, Aerospace, Semiconductors, Chemicals, Infrastructure, Transportation, and Information Technology sectors.



Tasks



Key Responsibilities:



Take ownership of system-level engineering activities for new vehicle developments, refurbishments, and upgrade projects - from initial concept to final validation and handover. Act as the central technical contact, coordinating work across various disciplines such as mechanical design, electrical systems, software, and integration engineering. Ensure smooth collaboration between internal departments, suppliers, and external partners while maintaining high technical and quality standards. Translate customer and regulatory requirements into clear engineering specifications and verify their fulfilment throughout the project lifecycle. Perform detailed technical analyses and evaluations, including reliability, change impact, and risk assessments, to support informed design decisions. Oversee the creation of technical documentation, system specifications, verification reports, and approval files, and participate in system and integration testing.

Requirements



Education & Professional Experience:



Degree in Electrical, Systems, or Vehicle Engineering (BSc/MSc or equivalent). At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in rolling stock, mobility, or complex systems engineering. Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional technical teams and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering work. Sound knowledge of applicable standards, certification processes, and regulatory frameworks in the rail or transport sector.

Personal Competencies:



Methodical and analytical thinker with a strong drive for precision and results. Excellent communicator who enjoys collaboration across teams and technical domains. Proficient in English and German (minimum B2/C1 level); additional languages are a plus.
