Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Test Automation Engineer to lead the test automation strategy for a large, highly regulated system.
This position is ideal for an experienced Test Manager with a passion for test automation, CI/CD integration, reporting, and quality best practices. You will play a key leadership role in designing, implementing, and optimizing automated tests, ensuring system reliability, and supporting development teams with testing procedures and strategies. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in establishing standards for automating user acceptance testing, compliance reporting, and continuous delivery processes.

Responsibilities:

Defining and implementing automated testing strategies for complex, large-scale applications within a highly regulated healthcare sector. Establishing and enforcing best practices for automated and manual testing, including functional, performance, security, and compliance testing. Coordinating with DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation and reporting. Coordinating the development of real-time reports and dashboards to track test coverage, failure rates, and quality trends. Conducting training and mentoring for developers in automated testing, TDD, BDD, and other quality assurance methodologies. Ensuring that testing procedures comply with industry regulations and standards (e.g., ISO, GDPR, HIPAA, SOX). Working closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to align testing strategies with business requirements.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in software testing and test automation. Expertise in coordinating testing activities across the entire engineering organization . Experience with automated test frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, Robot Framework). CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Solid knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman, Bruno, REST Assured). Familiarity with the principles of performance and security testing. Experience in a highly regulated environment with a focus on compliance. Ability to mentor and train developers regarding software testing procedures and principles. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-based testing (preferably Azure). Familiarity with testing tools such as Gerkin or Fitnesse Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Xray, Zephyr).
