What's the scope?
As a Junior Merchandiser you will contribute to the creation of a commercial, consumer and market focused innovative product offer contributing to the overall business strategy and brand vision.
Your responsibilities as our Junior Merchandiser;Support the Merchandising Manager in preparing the seasonal product briefings to Design/Development/Global Teams.
Support the Merchandising Manager in gathering the newest denim trends and doing proactively Competitor Analyses that is beneficial to sustain the relevance of the Lee brand within the Denim Landscape.
Active participation in key milestone meetings, forecasting process, line-editing and sample ordering.
Taking care of our sample sets, follow-up on deliveries, sending products to photo shoots/countries/global teams.
Own the data entry process to set-up the product lines in the systems.
Communicate internally to cross functional teams the product line updates.
Line presentation to the Sales Team and external clients.
Continuous monitoring of the business performance; prebook, sell-in & sell-out.
Analysis of past sales figures to anticipate future product needs.
Conduct consumer/market research to identify market trends appropriate to the brand, consumer behavior and new product opportunities.
Support the accessories and/or collaborations development and set-up process - briefing, sample orders & comments.
Skills for Success: 1 to 2 years experience, ideally in the apparel industry (internship included)*
Bachelor or Master's degree in Marketing, Fashion Management or Economics
Fluent in English (written & verbal), any other European language is an advantage
Great knowledge of apparel market and market trends, flair for fashion
Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint, other MS tools is a plus
First steps of analytic mind-set and paying attention to details
Strong communication skills & presentation skills
Ability to work under pressure and set priorities accordingly
Highly motivated and great Team player
Eager to learn and result oriented
Bring passion for fashion and latest fashion trends
