Legal Counsel (80-100%)
Mannedorf, Zurich
Your contribution
In this dynamic and impactful role, you will provide legal support and guidance to Tecan's business segments. Reporting to the Director of Legal Affairs, your responsibilities will include:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of international commercial contracts (including development, supply, distribution, licensing, and collaboration agreements)
• Preparing and updating contract templates and policies
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulatory standards, and internal policies
• Safeguarding Tecan's integrity and managing risk exposure
• Providing training to employees on legal matters
• Staying current with evolving laws, regulations, and legal technologies, and advising on their business impact
• Collaborating with colleagues in Legal Affairs and stakeholders across the globe

Your background
We value passion, talent, and diverse perspectives. To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Law (bar admission is a plus)
• 2-5 years of relevant post-graduate legal experience, ideally in an international in-house environment or a business law firm
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex international commercial contracts in English
• Fluency in English and German; French is an asset
• Strong negotiation skills and sound judgment
• A proactive, business-minded, and solution-oriented approach
• Collaborative team spirit, integrity, resilience, and a global mindset
• Keen interest in healthcare, life sciences, and emerging legal technologies
