Analyse developments in the financial and capital markets, digital innovations, the Swiss financial centre, financial stability and financial market regulation
Draw up proposals for the Federal Council, Parliament, the heads of the Department of Finance and the State Secretariat, as well as prepare legal texts, discussion papers, presentations and analyses
Monitor international standards for the regulation of financial markets and their implementation in Switzerland, the EU and key industrialised nations, and evaluate the need for action
Coordinate the engagement of the Federal Department of Finance in the Financial Stability Board (FSB)and draft Switzerland's statements and positions on selected issues
Represent SIF and Switzerland in working groups and expert bodies, as well as at conferences
This makes you unique

University degree in law, preferably accompanied by a licence to practise as an attorney-at-law and, ideally, several years of professional experience in the financial sector
Keen interest in technological developments in the financial sector and related legal issues
Excellent analytical and drafting skills; ability to work independently and organise and manage complex issues effectively; highly goal-oriented and results-focused approach
Interest in mobile working and familiarity with digital working environments
Very good knowledge of two official languages and English; knowledge of a third official language is an advantage
