Overview:
The apprenticeship as international freight forwarding logistics specialist focuses on international exchange of goods worldwide. Responsibilities:
The apprenticeship includes three years of training in freight forwarding, covering the following main areas:
- Air Freight
- Ocean Freight
- European Landtransports
- Customs
- Logistics
The apprentice does a rotation (6 months duration) in these areas.

Including the following tasks:

• Knowing the origin or destination of the goods, the technical and economic conditions of the market
• Knowing the customers needs so that goods arrive safely at the desired destination at a certain time
• Issuing all necessary clarifications; this includes, for example, choosing the best possible transport solution for the goods (transport by, ship or plane, for example).
• Knowledge about customs law and being familiar with foreign trade regulations

Qualifications:

• High School Degree
• Good command of German/English
• High Customer orientation
