About the Job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva, the Laundry Attendant reports directly to the

House Laundry Manager

.


As a

Laundry Attendant

, you will be responsible for :


o Process staff laundry


o Process customer laundry in accordance with established standards.

o Process external customer laundry using the same standards established for our customers.


o Receive and check customer laundry against records and do the same for external customers.

o For worn or permanently stained sponges, depending on their condition, assign them to the staff service or take them out of circulation and deduct them from stock.

o Wash polyester banquet tablecloths.

o Dry them in the dryer.

o Fold the tablecloths.

o Wash curtains using the appropriate program and fold them.

o Actively participate in measures implemented to reduce operating costs.

o Ensure customer invoicing.

o Count the items made for external customers.





As

Laundry Attendant

we expect from you:


o Previous experience in laundry and dry cleaning

o Team spirit, curiosity, and a desire to learn and grow.

o Good communication skills and a flexible attitude.

o Valid Swiss work permit or European passport.
