Job Summary:
A warm, professional family in Zug, Switzerland is seeking a second live in Nanny / Mother's help to work alongside their long standing nanny.
On weekends, this is very much a mother's helper role, both parents are always around - they may step out for a few hours and often take one or more children with them. The family is keen to find someone who genuinely likes this type of schedule and setup
The nanny is typically responsible for only 1 to 2 children at a time so the role is more support rather than sole charge
Working Schedule
This is a shared role alongside an existing full-time nanny, providing 7 day coverage.

• Up to 45 hours per week
• Some weeks 40 hours, some weeks up to 45 hours
• Typically 3.5 days off per week
• The family is flexible and open to discussing preferences (e.g. Sundays off vs weekend work)

Typical coverage options (flexible by agreement):

• Thursday, Friday & Saturday + a few hours on Wednesday
• OR Friday, Saturday & Sunday + a few hours on Wednesday evening

Wednesdays (overlap day):

• Both nannies work
• Existing nanny: 7:30 am - 7:30 pm
• New nanny: 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm, staying at home with the youngest child while the other nanny attends after-school activities with the older children
• Activities are school-based; no school pick-ups required

Driving is helpful but not essential. Parents usually take children to school, but it would be appreciated if the nanny can assist with driving when needed. Everything is within walking distance and public transport is excellent.
Job specification:

• Supporting with the youngest child during the day
• Playing, reading, arts & crafts, and age-appropriate activities
• Nap routines
• Helping with morning/evening routines when required
• Keeping children's areas tidy
• Children's laundry
• Light household support as part of a mother's helper role
• Preparing basic, healthy family meals

Candidate specification:

• Experience with similar aged children
• Comfortable working as part of a nanny team
• Happy in a mother's help / shared-care role
• Good level English
• French or German speaking would be beneficial - kids speak fluent French, the other nanny speaks French
• Willing to support the household flexibly (within agreed duties)
• EU passport essential

Accommodation: Separate flat - 3 bedroom, kitchen, family room, laundry - shared with the other nanny
Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
