Summary
A warm and welcoming family based in Switzerland is seeking a professional, experienced, and nurturing live-in Nanny to care for their young child.
This is a long-term, full-time position in a stunning working alongside a household team. The role involves both weekday routines and occasional travel, primarily to London.
Hours: A consistent schedule of approx. 40 hours per week, with split days on weekdays.
Mon - Thu: A split day of approx. 6 hours, covering the morning routine (e.g., 7:00-9:00) and afternoon/evening (16:30-20:30).
Late Nights: On two of these weekdays, duties will extend until 23:00 to provide evening supervision (kid goes to bed around 21:30).
Saturday: Approx. 8 hours (e.g., 9:00-17:00).
General Duties:
Full morning routine: dressing, breakfast, and school drop-off
Afternoon and evening care: school pick-up, playtime, bath and bedtime
Preparing healthy, child-friendly meals and snacks
Planning and organising age-appropriate educational activities * Light child-related housekeeping (tidying bedroom/playroom, managing laundry)
Accommodation
Excellent private accommodation is provided: a fully furnished studio apartment with its own separate entrance, en-suite bathroom, and kitchenette. The studio is located a few minutes' drive from the family home, offering complete privacy. All utilities (Wi-Fi, heating, electricity) are included.
Candidate Requirements:
A warm, reliable, and proactive nanny with a genuine passion for childcare
Highly organised and able to create a structured, nurturing environment
Fluent in English (German a plus, but not essential)
Educational background in early childhood development is highly desirable
Confident driver with a valid license - a car is provided
Willingness to travel with the family on holidays and occasional trips (approx. 1 week per quarter)
Non-smoker
Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
