We are currently seeking an experienced

Live-in House Manager / Senior Housekeeper

to oversee the smooth running of a private residence in the Lugano area. This role requires a highly organised, proactive, and discreet professional capable of managing the daily operations of a high-standard household.

Responsibilities

Full management and coordination of the household's daily operations Supervision of house staff (team of 4-5 people) Management of suppliers, contractors, and service providers Oversight of home security systems Organisation and supervision of cleaning activities and maintenance works Follow-up on repairs, subcontracted services, and property upkeep Management of household vehicles Coordination of external infrastructure (garden, swimming pool, technical areas) Welcome and assistance to guests; occasional table service Recruitment, onboarding, and training of household staff Monitoring of household budgets, expenses, and supplies

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within a private household or luxury hospitality environment Strong organisational skills and ability to anticipate needs Professional and approachable demeanour with excellent interpersonal skills High level of discretion, confidentiality, and trustworthiness Ability to manage unexpected situations calmly and effectively Leadership and team supervision experience Strong attention to detail and high service standards Fluent in
