Overview

A private household in Wadenswil (Canton Zurich, 8820) seeks a professional Housekeeper to join their domestic team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be a meticulous, discreet, and highly experienced housekeeper who can uphold luxury household standards with precision and care. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining an immaculate, formal home environment.



The family has two teenage children, but no childcare is required. Start date: ASAP

Job duties

Responsibilities of the Full-time Housekeeper in Zurich, Switzerland:


Daily cleaning and maintenance of all household areas to luxury standards Professional laundry and ironing services, including care for delicate fabrics VIP wardrobe management and garment organization Operation of Laurastar steam generator and other professional cleaning equipment Care and maintenance of a variety of surface types (marble, wood, glass, etc.) Proper use and storage of cleaning supplies, products, and household appliances Pet care and interaction with two black German Shepherd dogs Inventory management of cleaning products and materials Collaboration and coordination with other household staff to ensure smooth operations Working alongside other housekeepers, a driver and gardener

Candidates must be / have:

Valid Swiss work permit/EU citizenship with the legal right to work in Switzerland Fluent in English or Russian (German or French is advantageous) Comfortable working around dogs (experience of handling large breeds a plus) Minimum of 3 years' experience in high-end private households Knowledge of luxury fabric care and professional cleaning techniques Physically fit and capable of handling demanding cleaning tasks A team player, with exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills Reliable, discreet, and professional in all aspects of conduct Flexible with work schedule

Hours

43 hours per week, 5 days with 2 flexible days off.



Free time determined by the employer according to the household's weekly schedule.



Overtime compensated with additional rest time or as agreed.

This is a live-out position.

Salary and Employment Terms

6,000 CHF per month.



Contract: Swiss employment contract
