Duties and Responsibilities
Welcome guests with warmth and sincerity upon arrival at The Cave, offering a personalized and engaging check-in experience.
Offer guests a smooth and memorable departure ritual, thanking them for their stay and inviting them to return.
Be the face and spirit of the hotel lobby, creating a first and lasting impression through emotional hospitality.
Act as a host and guide, offering personalized assistance, property orientation, and curated recommendations.
Offer guests refreshments, towels, or any personalized welcome amenities as part of the arrival ritual.
Ensure The Cave lobby area is always well-maintained, clean, and set up for a warm welcome.
Coordinate closely with Front Office, Guest Experience, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest journey.
Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively to any requests, complaints, or feedback.
Ensure compliance with privacy, safety, and security protocols in line with Six Senses and statutory requirements.
Upsell resort experiences, dining, wellness activities, and special offers.
Support special celebrations and surprise moments such as birthdays, anniversaries, or guest preferences.
Maintain a high standard of personal appearance, grooming, and hygiene in accordance with brand standards.
Attend meetings and training as required.
Knowledge and strict adherence to LQA and brand service standards.
Perform any additional tasks or projects assigned by Supervisor/Management.
Qualifications
To execute the position Lobby Ambassador, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:
A hospitality diploma or degree from a recognized institution is preferred.
At least 1 year of experience in front office or guest-facing roles, preferably in luxury hotels or resorts.
Excellent command of English and French; other languages such as German or Italian are a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A genuine passion for guest service, wellness, and sustainability.
Fluent in French & English
EU or Swiss passport
