Within the Janssen Global Plan Excellence team, the Manager will be an integral member of a global business team, supporting the end to end planning processes for Janssen. The Manager is responsible for shaping, standardizing, and strengthening Planning processes by identifying appropriate internal and external processes & practices to develop strategic plans and meet the needs of global & regional business teams. They will lead key Global Plan Programs and initiatives, with a focus on advancing Planning Capabilities, enabling growth, improving Customer Experience, and driving Supply Chain efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Advances Planning Capabilities (people, process, technology) across the JSC Planning, with a strong focus on digital, analytics, & insight development solutions.
  • Standardizes and improves planning processes, analytics & insight developments, and introduces new processes based on their functional expertise, external benchmarks, and Enterprise Planning standards.
  • Collaborates with Enterprise Planning, Supply Chain IT, and Supply Chain Systems & Solutions teams to prioritize Plan technology roadmap for the sector.
  • Creates training plans to maintain and improve Planner capabilities and skills, including working closely with Plan leaders to implement training programs in the Franchise/Region/Sector.
  • Leads ongoing process governance and integrity, reporting, and data accuracy.
  • Develops analytics & insight capabilities, through Intelligent Automation, Process Mining and Scenario Planning business solutions
  • Develops planning analytics & insights; develops and deploys a consistent set of tools to improve key supply chain metrics and support business decisions.
  • Leads key Plan projects and initiatives, working cross-functionally to prioritize resources and mitigate risk.
  • Develops, coaches, and guides team(s) of business experts in the execution and realization of departmental and company goals, optimizing overall group effectiveness and business impact.
  • Leads organizational change to ensure effective implementation and integration of process improvement initiatives.
Education:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor\\\'s or equivalent University degree required; advanced degree or MBA preferred
  • Certifications preferred: Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or higher), Supply Chain Certification (APICS / IBF), and/or Project Management Certification (PMP / FPX)
Experience and Skills:

Required:
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working directly in Supply Chain Planning as a functional expert in one or more Planning Capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, mentor, and build strong collaborative teams and relationships, leading cross-functional/ virtual teams without direct authority
  • Proven ability to effectively, clearly, and concisely communicate to collaborate and influence across a broad range of business partners and functions
Preferred:
  • Experience with ERP (preferably SAP) and/or Advanced Planning Systems (e.g., OMP / APO / Anaplan)
  • Experience with advanced analytics solutions (e.g., Alteryx, etc.)
  • Experience with Intelligent Automation, Process Mining and Scenario Planning solutions
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects, driving continuous improvement mindset, and applying change management concepts and methodologies
Other:
  • Requires fluency in English (oral and written)
  • Requires up to 10% domestic and international travel
