Manager of Internal Audit

Main Responsibilities

The Manager of Internal Audit will be responsible for assisting in systematic review of TIL and its terminal companies to assess the quality, integrity, and accurateness of all operational and financial processes. Some of the key responsibilities for this role will be to:

Lead internal audit assignments, on-site at TiL various locations, based on agreed and existing IA methodologies. Manage and mentor more junior team members during on site audits. Complete detailed working papers in SharePoint for review by IA management, covering all areas of the business. Completion of Audit Planning Memorandum before each assignment. Produce concise audit reports identifying key issues and recommendations for improvement for review by Head of IA. Lead discussions and agree with relevant management at holding company or terminal business level the corrective actions. Monitor the achievement of audit actions on a timely basis.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience/Skill:

Formal education in accounting/finance with a profession qualification (ACCA/CPA qualified preference) either attained or in progress. 5+ years of previous experience as an auditor of diverse international businesses. Perfect command of both written and spoken English with strong expertise in concise and effective written communication skills. Other language skills would be beneficial (Spanish, French) Experience of working effectively with team members and JV audit teams in a collaborative manner. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and with all levels if management. High level of integrity and dependability. Preparedness to and capability to travel extensively and work in remote locations. Details oriented with strong analytical skills, advanced use of Excel.
