Our Assurance team helps our national and international clients in Insurance and Reinsurance to improve their financial reporting, to successfully complete their transformation projects and achieve their strategic goals. For that purpose, we strongly rely on our expertise in Insurance Accounting, Reporting and Audit.

How you can make an impact

Develop into a trusted advisor to our national and international clients and their key stakeholders (CFOs, group controllers, head of accounting)

Lead and actively contribute to the professional development of the team and individuals

Support clients in complex projects, e.g finance transformation, implementation of new reporting standards (IFRS, ESG, Solvency) and M&A, as well as provide assurance services

Gain experience in working together with different functions within finance departments of our clients

Closely collaborate with and learn from the other Deloitte service lines, teams and specialists (e.g. SAP, operations, Tax & Legal or audit and actuarial specialists)

Who We Are Looking For

You are a Swiss accredited Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or a Federal Audit Oversight Authority (FAOA) registered auditor with equivalent foreign qualification

You dispose of 5-8 years experience in insurance financial and regulatory reporting (advisory or audit) under various GAAPs/frameworks, within the Big4

You demonstrate a profound knowledge of accounting principles and FINMA regulatory requirements for (re)insurance

You have already gained experience in IFRS 17 projects (through advisory or audit)

You communicate confidently in German and English. Any further languages would be an advantage

You work independently and are motivated by new challenges. You are driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and like taking on new responsibilities

You enjoy working as part of a dynamic team and act as an inspiring leader. Building and cultivating customer relationships comes easily to you
