To do so, we have formed a new organization called PT Digital and Operational Excellence (PTE) with the aspiration to build industry-leading digital and lean operations across functions and our entire manufacturing footprint.
PTE is the organization that catalyzes global development and execution of PT's Digital and Operational Excellence strategy to enable PT to realize our performance promises. We build a strong cross-functional and inclusive community, put the power of data into the hands of our people, further develop the Lean and Digital skills across PT, and scale up our Digital and Advanced Analytics solutions, for the benefit of our colleagues and patients.
The opportunity
This role serves as the key liaison between global TechOps cyber security function and local manufacturing sites across the globe, ensuring compliance, maturity reviews, value-chain analysis, secure operations, elevating OT security awareness and seamless integration of enterprise-level initiatives with site-specific needs.
PT representation at site: Act as the primary liaison between manufacturing site operations and the PTE cyber security / digital teams
Site Compliance: Ensure site-level compliance with corporate cyber security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
Controls and systems security: Support implementation and monitoring of cyber security controls across manufacturing equipment, automation systems, and digital infrastructure
Bridge between PT and site: Bridge PT and IX cyber security strategies with local execution, adapting frameworks to fit site-specific operational realities
Incident response and threat awareness: Support incident response coordination at the manufacturing site, escalating to global teams as required.
Documentation and reporting: Provide documentation and reporting on compliance status, risks and mitigation actions.
Industry standards: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing) to embed security into digital manufacturing initiatives (e.g., Industry 4.0, IoT, MES) and drive continuous improvement in cyber security resilience at the site level.
Who you are
The position requires a strong blend of manufacturing knowledge, cyber security awareness, and stakeholder management at site level.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field (Master's preferred) with experience (3-5 years) in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environments strongly preferred
Solid understanding of cyber security frameworks, compliance standards and GxP regulations and the ability to translate global digital / cyber requirements into practical site-level actions
Knowledge of manufacturing systems and digital technologies (e.g., SCADA, DCS, MES, IoT), the Purdue Model, OT architectural design principles, Enterprise Service Bus and Unified Name Space implementations
Strong skills in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration, especially between global teams and local operations
Experience in risk assessment, KPI governance, audit preparation, and compliance reporting.
