Job Description

We are looking for a Certified Critical Manufacturing MES IoT Backend Developer to support the implementation and customization of a modern MES platform in a high-tech manufacturing environment. This role involves hands-on development, integration with ERP systems and shop-floor equipment, and automation of industrial workflows.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable MES solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency and traceability in line with Industry 4.0 principles.

Key Responsibilities:

IoT Application Development:

Develop scalable IoT applications using C# and Angular within the MES framework.

MES Customization:

Configure and customize Critical Manufacturing MES to align with specific manufacturing processes and operational requirements.

System Integration:

Integrate MES with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) using REST APIs, Web Services, and Web Methods.

Equipment Connectivity:

Interface with shop-floor equipment via OPC UA, SEC/GEM, and flat file protocols for real-time data exchange.

GUI Enhancements:

Build and modify user interfaces using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript for usability and visualization.

Data Management & Reporting:

Execute complex SQL queries and manage MES data layers to support operations, analytics, and compliance.

Security & Compliance:

Apply best practices for data protection and secure transmission within industrial networks.

Automation & Testing:

Create and maintain automated test cases using the Microsoft Test Framework to ensure system quality.

Qualifications:

Certified Developer in Critical Manufacturing MES (Backend or IoT track).

Minimum 3+ years of hands-on MES development experience in industrial or discrete manufacturing environments.

Deep knowledge of C#/.NET, Angular, SQL, HTML5, REST APIs, and OPC UA.

Proven experience integrating MES with ERP and production equipment.

Familiarity with manufacturing standards such as ISA-95, GAMP5, or ISA-88 is a plus.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional EU languages are a bonus.

Preferred Background:

Experience working in sectors such as semiconductors, automotive, electronics, medical devices, or high-precision manufacturing.

Familiarity with IoT architectures, industrial automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
