Marketing & Digital Project Specialist - Cycling Events (100%) / English - French


Founded on 14th April 1900 in Paris, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is the world governing body for cycling. Its mission is to develop and supervise cycling in all its forms and for everybody, as a competitive sport, as a healthy recreational activity and as a means of transport and having fun. Additionally, the UCI promotes a number of its own events, including the UCI Road World Championships, an iconic annual event, and a wide range of other UCI World Championships and World Cups across the various disciplines. It is based in Aigle, Switzerland, at the UCI World Cycling Centre.


Mission :



As a Marketing and Digital Project Specialist, you will report to the UCI's Communication, Marketing, Media and CSR Department (50%) as well as to the Digital Transformation Department (50%). You will be involved in projects with strong international visibility and high operational complexity, related to the UCI's strategic partnerships, notably with major stakeholders such as Tissot and the organizers of the Tour de France, as well as in the deployment of marketing and digital activations around international cycling events and major sporting events such as the Olympic and Paralympic Games.


Main Responsabilities :



Operational management and deployment of the UCI's marketing and digital strategy Coordination, management and monitoring of commercial partnerships, with premium partners such as Tissot, event rights holders of major events such as the Tour de France, and the organizing bodies of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Management, coordination and activation of 360 digital campaigns for premium partners across world-class events Management of complex projects involving multiple teams, service providers and international partners Supervision of the delivery of partners' marketing and digital rights: media plans and digital visibility, communication axes and key messages, digital and event activations, content, assets and brand guidelines Organization and follow-up of partner briefs, coordination meetings and progress reviews Cross-functional coordination with internal teams as well as international agencies, freelancers and external service providers Drafting, optimization and monitoring of contractual and operational documents (LOCs, partner contracts, agency briefs, guidelines, reports) Contribution to the design of commercial offers, product sheets and partner activation concepts Implementation of management, monitoring and reporting tools for marketing and digital activations Participation in operational coordination related to events: logistics, partner activations, hospitality and on-site presence Administrative management of external resources: tenders, mandates, schedules, activity reports, invoicing and payments

Profil :



Master's degree or equivalent higher education in one of the following fields: marketing, business, management, communication, or international sport / sports event management mandatory Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing complex marketing, communication or event projects within international sport Proven experience in managing and activating high-profile partners such as Tissot, the Tour de France and the Olympic and Paralympic Games Excellent knowledge of cycling and international sports competitions required Strong interest in digital and very good knowledge of social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn Comfortable using coordination and reporting tools, as well as collaborative digital environments Full professional proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken Ability to work in demanding international environments with high media exposure Rigorous, well-organized and proactive profile, with an excellent sense of priorities Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently Willingness to travel occasionally within Switzerland and internationally
