Location: Lausanne area, Switzerland
A warm and welcoming family based in the Lausanne area is looking for a professional and experienced Maternity Nurse to provide support during the first months with their newborn.
Position Details
Schedule: 24 hours per day, 5 days per week
Duration: Approximately 3 months
Accommodation: Provided
Responsibilities
- Provide full maternity and postnatal care for the newborn
- Establish and maintain feeding and sleeping routines
- Guide and support the parents in all aspects of newborn care
- Ensure the baby's comfort, hygiene, and safety at all times
- Manage nursery-related duties (bottle sterilising, baby laundry, etc.)
- Offer advice and reassurance while respecting the family's parenting preferences
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Maternity Nurse or Newborn Care Specialist
- Proven track record of newborn and postnatal care experience and checkable references
- EU passport or valid Swiss work permit
- Professional, discreet, and adaptable personality
- Excellent knowledge of newborn routines, sleep patterns, and feeding support
- Fluent in English
