Lausanne, SwitzerlandA lovely family based in Lausanne is expecting their second baby in January 2026 and is looking for a professional and experienced Maternity Nurse to support them during the first few months after the birth.
Position Details:
Schedule: 24 hours per day, 6 days per week Duration: 3 months Start: January 2026 Accommodation: Provided Location: Lausanne, Switzerland
Responsibilities:
Provide full maternity and postnatal care for the newborn Establish and maintain feeding and sleeping routines Guide and support parents in all aspects of newborn care Ensure the baby's comfort, hygiene, and safety at all times Handle baby-related nursery duties (bottle sterilizing, laundry, etc.) Offer advice and reassurance to the parents while respecting their wishes and parenting style
Requirements:
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Maternity Nurse or Newborn Care Specialist Proven track record of newborn and postnatal care experience and checkable references EU passport or valid Swiss work permit Professional, discreet, and adaptable personality Excellent knowledge of newborn routines, sleep patterns, and feeding support Fluent in English
