: We are looking for a mechanic (m/f/d) for our client, a large pharmaceutical company based in Kaiseraugst.

Due to the increase in production, a fully continuous shift operation must be introduced from 2025 (= 3 days early shift, 3 days late shift, 3 days off).

Tasks & responsibilities:
Responsibility for GMP-compliant maintenance/servicing and troubleshooting on the
production facilities within the Solids DP value stream, which is responsible for the manufacture of tablets, capsules and the filling of powder into bottles
Responsibility for the mechanical availability of the process equipment, including production support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and problem solving on highly automated equipment (first-level support)
Assistance in increasing plant availability
Independent execution of planned maintenance activities
Creation and optimization of maintenance plans
Collaboration in the creation and optimization of SOPs
Safe working in a GMP environment and GMP-compliant documentation
Independent development and execution of minor plant optimizations in compliance with "Technical Change Management" Collaboration and implementation of continuous improvement measures (CIP)
Willingness to work two shifts and be on call
Willingness to work in a self-organized team with a high degree of
personal responsibility in an open and collaborative environment
Working with the team to promote LPS methods and tools and implement them in day-to-day business
Contributing ideas for improving quality, plant efficiency, and process cost reduction, and collaborating on and implementing continuous improvement measures (CIP)
Must-haves:
Completed vocational training as a maintenance mechanic or comparable training
Professional experience in pharmaceutical production, development, quality assurance, and control, or a similar industry
At least 3 years of professional experience in maintenance, ideally in pharmaceutical production or a highly regulated environment
Experienced in using IT systems (e.g., confident use of Google and standard PC programs)
Very good written and verbal communication skills in German
Quick comprehension and keen interest in technical processes
High level of willingness and curiosity to develop flexibly and learn across departments in the spirit of polyvalence . A team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous process improvement and the ability to deliver consistently high performance in a constantly changing environment
Knowledge of and commitment to process improvements (e.g., lean production systems) and agile management are an advantage
Ability and openness to recognize and embrace the opportunities and benefits of change. In this sense, an interest in coaching and change management is an advantage
Strong team spirit and solution-oriented approach as well as a collaborative working style
Forward thinking and acting and strong conceptual skills
Precise and reliable working style, even under time pressure
Confident use of standard PC programs
