Mechanical Design Engineer (f/m/d)

This appeals to you

• Turn functional ideas into assemblies and sub - assemblies
• Design of related components in CAD, derive documentation such as drawings, technical specification, test reports for suppliers, production and assembly
• Engage in technical negotiations with suppliers & assembly department in order to optimize parts, sub-assemblies manufacturability and production yield
• Test and verify the functionality of your parts & sub-assemblies
• Collaborating with multi-discipline and diverse project teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes within the R&D Team

This is you

• Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanics or similar based on an apprenticeship as design technician or mechanic
• You have proven track record of 3+ years in a mechanical engineering environment
• Several years of experience in CAD designing is a must; preferrable in Siemens NX
• Entrepreneurial mindset, highly motivated with a proactive attitude and hands-on mentality
• Open-minded team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in opto-mechanics / optronics or bearing systems is a plus
• You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary and international team using German and English
• Basic Knowledge in electronics, SW development, Matlab or Python is an asset
