Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d) - Designer / Product Care / SAP / GxP

Background:

The Department of Product Care HW (DSRMEC) is seeking an interested individual who would like to expand their experience in the diagnostics industry while simultaneously creating added value for the healthcare system. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to the implementation and support of new, innovative diagnostic solutions, drive the digital transformation of the healthcare system, and build a broad network of external and internal contacts.

The ideal candidate:

has completed an apprenticeship as a design engineer with further training at a university and more than three years of experience in this profession. Furthermore, the person brings experience in product care, as well as experience with CATIA V5 and SAP PLM. Finally, the person has experience with ISO 8015 drawing standards.

Main tasks and areas of responsibility:

Independent work on mechanical assemblies and projects (as part of product care activities) using own specialist knowledge, including the development of changes and additions as well as the extension of modules and devices Creating and reviewing technical specifications Tracking and updating of technical documentation Compile technical regulations Collaboration in interdisciplinary work and product support teams, which are composed of the areas of supply chain, production, suppliers, quality and regulatory Root cause analysis, presentation of the redesign to product managers Support of external partners and migration of documents into specific ERP

Must Haves:

Completed apprenticeship as a designer, ideally completed further training at
University, University of Applied Sciences, Higher Technical College (Mechanical Engineer)

Min. 3 years of experience as a designer / mechanical engineer in a similar environment
(Medical technology, diagnostics, building technology / GxP environment)

Experience in product care or project development Experience in CATIA V5 and SAP PLM Experience with drawing guidelines ISO8015 Persistence and precise working methods to penetrate the existing product complexity Quick comprehension and ability to work in a team Very good written and spoken German skills (C1) Good written and spoken English skills (B2)
