What you will do

\\n

In this vital role you will enhance Amgen\\xe2\\x80\\x99s value proposition through medical and scientific projects, services and expertise, to coordinate the implementation of medical affairs (MA) programs as well as to support Medical Advisors in developing national MA tactics. The candidate will implement and execute MA plans, provide scientific communication to scientific experts, and generate medical insights to advise medical and brand plans.

Additional responsibilities include:

Scientific Expert Engagement and Data Discussions

  • \\n
  • Identifies, develops, and maintains collaborative relationships with current and future scientific experts, brand advocates, cooperative groups and key external audiences in oncology/hematology

    \\n
  • Develops and implements local scientific engagement plans

    \\n
  • Works with sales representatives to ensure prioritization of key scientific experts

    \\n
  • Ensures medical/legal excellence and compliance

    \\n

Study Support / Evidence Generation

  • \\n
  • Identifies new research/study opportunities in collaboration with Medical Advisors

    \\n
  • Works with development field operations to ensure prioritization of site selection

Market Insights, Access & Value

  • \\n
  • Informs competitive intelligence, patient journey and reports scientific expert feedback

    \\n
  • Develops required qualitative and quantitative insight reports; collates competitor information

    \\n
\\n

Internal and External Support

  • Ensures timely response to medical inquiries

    \\n
  • Implements and disseminates high-quality medical and scientific educational programs; gives clinical and scientific presentations at sites/cooperative groups/ hospital forms

Minimum Requirements

\\n
  • \\n
  • Medical or scientific education or experience from similar positions

    \\n
  • Advanced degree (e.g. PhD, MD) preferred or strong demonstration of equivalent combination of relevant educational and professional training

    \\n
  • Three years of experience in industry, or a related scientific field in academia

    \\n
  • Medical / scientific research experience

    \\n
  • Willingness to travel within Switzerland; valid driver\\xe2\\x80\\x99s license

    \\n
  • Excellent project management and presentation skills

    \\n
\\n

Preferred Requirements

\\n
  • \\n
  • Scientific expertise in oncology/hematology and related products, disease states, and interested in the latest discoveries

    \\n
  • Experience in affiliate Medical Department or Clinical Development

    \\n
  • Experience with clinical study management and conduct

    \\n
  • Knowledge of value messages, clinical outcomes and patient benefits in oncology/hematology

    \\n
  • Understanding of Swiss health care system and decision-making processes

    \\n
  • Knowledge of commercialization and business practices

    \\n
  • Knowledge of clinical research, drug safety, legal and compliance environment

    \\n
  • Willingness to continuously expand medical, scientific, market, and industry knowledge

    \\n
  • Network of customer contacts in Switzerland
