The site in Visp, Switzerland is growing and for our Biologics organization, we are currently looking for a MSAT Bioconjugates Single Use Technologies expert. Lonza has a strong track record in the manufacturing of BioConjugates from early clinical to large scale commercial supplies. Our dedicated Protein Conjugation Plant facility (PCP) is recognized as a center of excellence for Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADC) as well as other classes of BioConjugates. We are experiencing an increased demand in this area and as part of Lonza's Ibex Dedicate model, new BioConjugation suites are being built out within a pre-existing shell.

What you'll do:

Subject matter expert for single use technologies (Downstream). Main point of contact for all technical, quality and regulatory based challenges. Support the Lonza project teams for the selection and the implementation of single use equipment in our GMP facilities (Bioconjugates IBEX and Potent conjugation plant (PCP)). Coordinate single use related activities with the MSAT, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain and quality assurance teams. Responsible for the standardization of the single use equipment. Representative for the communication with key single use suppliers. Be part of the Lonza global single use network. Responsible for vendor change notifications. Responsible for single use related change control management.

What we're looking for:

Master or PhD in Biotechnology preferred in chemical engineering or related disciplines with significant related industry experience. Experience in the single use area and cGMP biopharmaceutical manufacturing supporting downstream functions Excellent communication skills for interaction with project teams and suppliers. Fluent in English required, German fluency is a strong asset. Creative, agile, open-minded.
