The National AI Initiative for Precision Oncology (NAIPO) is a flagship project that will transform cancer care in Switzerland by integrating advanced AI across the patient journey. The consortium unites leading Swiss universities from the ETH domain and beyond, public and private Swiss hospitals, companies, and startups to accelerate innovation, lower costs, and position Switzerland at the forefront of personalized oncology--through modern data platforms and AI-optimized diagnostics and treatments.
NAIPO is looking for a Project Manager (80% - 100%). The position will be hosted by the EPFL AI Center, in close collaboration with ETH AI Center, and other partners of the NAIPO consortium, such as the leading university hospitals in Switzerland.
Main duties and responsibilities
Reporting to the Executive Committee of NAIPO, your mission will be to drive day-to-day execution of a large, multi-stakeholder four-years national program--turning strategy into milestones, facilitating interdisciplinary research collaborations with the consortium, coordinating hospital implementations, and ensuring high-quality, compliant delivery. You will interact with a large number of stakeholders in- and outside EPFL and ETHZ, with regards to NAIPO.

Facilitate collaborations across academic institutions, hospitals, and industrial partners; organize and run meetings.
Track NAIPO's progress by monitoring milestones and KPIs/OKRs in close collaboration with project leads.
Act as the single point of contact for regulatory and ethics matters; work closely with partners' legal departments, data-protection specialists, and consortium members; support data management practices.
Assist with the preparation of publications and progress/financial reports.
Ensure clear internal and external communication (conceptual work, content for website and newsletters) in close collaboration with the Executive Committee and communication offices of the NAIPO partners.
Facilitate and support the search for funding from institutions such as the SNSF, as well as from Swiss foundations and private donors, European calls, in close collaboration with NAIPO partners.
