Summary:
The Sales Manager leads and coordinates the sales team and ensures goal achievement within his/her area. He/She collaborates with all Brand Team members, shares "the Brand Account Manager View" and ensures that all relevant market insights and in-field execution feedback is transferred back to continuously adapt our Brand strategies to customer and patient needs.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver expected performance and beyond (Sales) at National level
Implement a plan to achieve Brand sales targets within agreed expense budgets
Drives Territory Management approach
Set targets, objectives and incentive schemes at the beginning of each sales cycle relating to work input, output and quality
Monitor and consolidate the outcomes of regional engagement and account plans in order to feed the Brand planning process and Brand team meetings
Elevate consolidated market intelligence and in-field performance to the Brand teams
Interact and show presence with key stakeholders assigned by the Brand team and as planned in the in-field teams
Motivate and build effective multi-disciplinary in-field teams, communicating the Brand strategy and how this is translated into specific objectives
Coaches, develops and assesses his/her team according to company guidelines and values
Coach and follow up on the skills development of the Sales team by ensuring regular update on their medical, technical and special Fields knowledge through formal training sessions, coaching in the field etc.
Ensure the right level of support for the Sales Force (e.g. material, SFE Manager support etc.)
Qualifications
University degree
5+ years' experience in a Sales Rep and/or Sales Management role within the Pharmaceutical industry
People leadership at varying levels of seniority
Therapy area experience highly preferred
Experience in a Marketing role highly preferred
Knowledge about mechanism and stakeholder in Health Care Market Switzerland
Targeting Principles, Account Planning, Performance and Account Analysis, Project Management
Scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic area preferred
Prescribing and Dispensing Processes
Business fluent in German, English and French

Effective communication and presentation skills
