The Operations Finance Senior Analyst plays a key role in supporting the EMEA manufacturing and tolling teams across budgeting, forecasting, standard costing, and variance management. This position also contributes to strategic business partnering and ad hoc financial analysis. Responsibilities include preparing regular management reporting packages, analysing business performance, consolidating budgets and forecasts, and collaborating with cross-functional and finance teams. The role reports directly to the Operations Finance Manager - EMEA.
What you will do with us:
Perform month-end close activities, including variance analysis (e.g., purchase price, material usage, volume, spend) and related accruals or adjustments.
Analyse monthly results and provide forecasts for costs and variances to support EBIT performance.
Prepare annual budget inputs and review cost data with business partners across the region.
Support inventory accuracy, including physical counts, third-party warehouse reviews, and toller reconciliations.
Assist in logistics cost analysis (freight, duty) and support regional audit and compliance efforts.
Contribute to process improvements by analysing variance trends and recommending updates (e.g., BOMs, toll fees, inventory).
Provide ad hoc financial support for FP&A, investment projects, New Product Introductions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your qualification & attributes:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; MBA, Chartered Accountant, or CMA preferred.
4-6 years of experience in FP&A, product costing, or operations finance within a manufacturing environment (chemical industry preferred).
Strong knowledge of the financial reporting cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and operational cost management.
Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Solid understanding of standard costing principles (preferred).
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
Proactive, hands-on approach with adaptability to remote and dynamic working environments; fluent in English.
