Imperium Commodity Search is working with an international ship broking firm looking covering all sectors across Dry/Wet freight. With a strong presence within the Global market and continuous growth we are recruiting for an experienced Operations officer to join our clients dynamic business.

Responsibilities:
Work with charterers and shipowners on providing up to date market information and coverage of proceedings with voyages.
Establish relationships with owners and charterers to assist the brokers with their day to day activities.
Prepare and verify freight documentations coordinating invoices in timely and organised fashion.
Pro active attitude to resolving any shipping issues or fixture related delays.
Responsible for the offering continuous support at the highest level to the groups clients.
Experience:
10+ years experience operations experience within Dry/Wet freight market (or alternative shipping background)
Proven track record working within fast high pressure environment with the ability to make positive decisions in timely fashion.
Strong understanding of a variety of shipping disputes / Common operational obstacles.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with a global client base.
Proficient in English and French
