Position Summary

As a Packaging Master Trainee, you will be responsible for various tasks related to equipment inventory management, calibration, documentation, and operating procedures. Additionally, you will be involved in packaging development technical projects, writing instructions and guidelines, performing laboratory analyses, and preparing comprehensive reports.
A Day in the Life of a Packaging Master Trainee
You will support our packaging laboratory by conducting selected analyses and provide accurate and reliable results; compile and write comprehensive reports based on laboratory findings
You will work on online training modules with the assistance of relevant experts and learning and leveraging new technology, like ChatGPT
You will assist packaging development technical projects
You will assist in the comprehensive assessment of specifications and documentation of various packaging materials. You will ensure that the packaging material is compliant to the Nestle golden rules of sustainable packaging. You will verify the completeness of the regulatory compliance documentation provided by the supplier
You will manage the packaging laboratory equipment portfolio, ensuring proper functioning, maintenance, calibration, documentation, and maintain an organized inventory of laboratory supplies and materials.
You will develop and update operating procedures for efficient laboratory operations, prepare clear and concise instructions and guidelines for equipment and laboratory methods
What will make you successful
Bachelor's degree in Packaging Science, Packaging Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficiency in data analysis and report writing
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Proactive and result focus combined with an innovative mindset
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Fluent in English (oral and written), at ease at networking in international environment
