Task description:
To develop a small, practical and reusable Peer Helper Library in Sharepoint / Microsoft Teams that supports peer helpers with consistent, culturally appropriate learning materials and simple engagement tools (read-reflect-quiz). The library will help peer helpers strengthen core skills and align on yearly focus themes.
Responsibilities:
1) Propose a simple information architecture for the Teams Peer Helper Library (folders/pages, naming conventions, and navigation).
2) Curate and standardize learning materials for selected core themes (recommended: Active Listening and Empathy), ensuring accessibility and cultural appropriateness.
3) For each theme, develop a micro-learning set following a consistent structure: curated resources, reflection prompts, and a short quiz.
4) Draft hub/library-ready text and short descriptions for each resource (purpose, key takeaway, estimated time to read/watch).
5) Create a simple, low-effort engagement model for peer helpers (how to use the library individually and in group settings).
6) Prepare a short handover note / SOP for SWU on how to update the library (adding/replacing resources, versioning, and quality checks).
7) Incorporate SWU feedback iteratively and maintain a clear tracker of what was added/updated.
Ultimate result of service:
A usable, structured and SWU-reviewed Peer Helper Library in Teams containing micro-learning materials that: (i) reinforce key peer helper skills through consistent, quality-controlled content; (ii) provide simple reflection and quiz prompts to encourage engagement; and (iii) offer a reusable template and SOP to enable ongoing maintenance by SWU.
Proposed workplan (8 weeks):
Weeks 1-2: Confirm themes and scope; design library structure; create resource tracker; curate first set of materials; draft 'How to use' note.
Weeks 3-4: Finalize Theme 1 micro-learning set (resources + reflection + quiz) and upload to Teams; incorporate SWU review.
Weeks 5-6: Finalize Theme 2 micro-learning set (resources + reflection + quiz) and upload to Teams; incorporate SWU review.
Weeks 7-8: QA pass (links, formatting, consistency); finalize SOP/handover package; finalize tracker/log; submit completion package.
