This makes you unique

University degree with a doctorate in agricultural, environmental or climate sciences (or related discipline)
In-depth knowledge of measures relating to greenhouse gas emissions and climate-change adaptation in agriculture
Experience in the modelling, life-cycle assessment or inventorying of agricultural emissions
A talent for organisation, strong communcation skills and an appetite for working in a large international consortium
Very good spoken and written English
Knowledge of two official Swiss languages

The EU Horizon Project 'ClimateSmartResearch' (CSR, https://climatesmartresearch.eu) investigates climate-smart practices in agriculture, i.e. measures for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and/or adapting to climate change. Within the project, you'll be coordinating the activities for the validation of innovative (emerging) climate-smart practices. You will be using model-based analyses to evaluate the potential of these practices. In this way, you will support us and the project in the development of relevant principles for the climate-neutral transformation of European agriculture.
