Kitchen Hand & Daycare Support

team member to join us.

Your Role

As a Kitchen Hand & Daycare Support, you will play an important part in helping our centre function each day. Your main responsibilities include:

Kitchen support

: Assisting with preparing and serving meals and snacks for children already prepared by a catering company. Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen to hygiene and safety standards. Supporting food distribution (e.g., portioning snacks, organising containers).

Daycare support

: Helping staff maintain clean and safe classrooms, play areas, and bathrooms. Assisting with setting up and tidying activities. Occasionally supporting educators with children during routines (lunchtime, transitions, outdoor play).

Cleaning duties

: Daily cleaning of communal areas. Laundry and organisation of linens, cloths, and children's belongings. General support to ensure the centre is well presented.

What We're Looking For

Reliable and motivated team player with a positive attitude. Previous experience in a kitchen, cleaning, or childcare support role (preferred but not essential). Strong sense of hygiene and cleanliness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility and willingness to support wherever needed in the daily running of the centre.
