\\n Vontobel is looking to build out its capabilities in private markets and is searching a senior investment professional to join the private markets team. This is a key role, and you will be working closely with the newly appointed Head of Private Markets Partners. You will be responsible for evaluating new investment opportunities suitable for private clients and shaping the strategy, processes, and infrastructure required to support the private market activities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive market research and due diligence to identify suitable private market investment opportunities for private clients.
• Build and maintain a robust network of industry contacts, foster strong relationships with private market fund managers and build a promising pipeline of attractive private market funds and co-investment opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to understand their needs and challenges.
• Develop robust monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track the performance of private market investments.
• Continuously develop and improve tools, reporting, and related processes to drive operational efficiency, scalability, and automation.
• Coordinate and maintain communication among all parties, including third-party service providers.
• Implement robust risk management practices, frameworks, and controls to mitigate operational, financial, and compliance risks associated with private market investments.
• Provide regular progress updates to various stakeholders, ensuring alignment with objectives.

Requirements:

• Hold a bachelor\\\'s degree in business, economics, or finance.
• Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in private markets
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Exhibit self-motivation, a proactive attitude, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Display strong analytical skills and an understanding of complex business processes
• Possess excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
