Product Designer & Builder

Lugano, Tessin, Switzerland

Job Description

Sartiq
At Sartiq we are building a full digital service to create stylish content at scale.
Sartiq is currently used end tested by some of the coolest and biggest fashion brands in the world to create images and videos.
The Challenge
We have laid the technical foundations for a complex service composed of multiple sub-products and features, and we have already captured the attention of key industry figures. Now, we need someone who can deeply understand user needs and translate them into functional products.
How We Work
We don't act like a traditional corporate structure; we operate as a synchronized unit of highly accountble individual.

  • Outcome-Based, Not Task-Based: You won't just "complete tickets"; you will be given full ownership of a functional module. You are responsible for every aspect required to ensure that module achieves its desired outcome.
  • Vertical Expertise, Horizontal Impact: While everyone owns a vertical (in your case, Product Design), we are a lean team. You will be involved in specific cross-functional tasks to support other teams when needed.
  • Synchronized Collaboration: No one works in isolation. We are still a relatively small team working in tight synchronization, where everyone has a voice and visibility over the entire project.
Compiti
As our Product Designer & Builder, you will:
  • Build the System: Design pixel-perfect components in Figma that serve as the shared "building blocks" for the entire team to create our micro-services.
  • Own the Flow: You must be able to gather requirements directly from users or our Account Managers and map out the entire user workflow.
  • Prototype & Ship: You will create functional prototypes--either autonomously (using AI tools/vibe coding) or by pulling in specific internal resources--and test them directly with clients. Why drawing things that can be directly prototyped?
Requisiti
A Product Builder, basically. Someone who gets frustrated when their designs stay stuck in a static file.
You're someone who creates because you have to. You don't just draw interfaces; you hack them together to see if they actually work. When nobody's watching, you're optimizing your own workflows or building side projects just to try a new tech stack.
Not someone who stopped at being a Figma wizard. You realized long ago that a JPG is not a product.
You're the one who:
  • Treats Figma as a logic puzzle, not a canvas: You build pixel-perfect Design Systems and components because you hate inconsistency, not because you were told to.
  • "Vibe Codes" naturally: You use Claude, Cursor, or v0 to generate frontend code because you want to test your interactions now, not next week.
  • Thinks in outcomes, not screens: You don't ask "what should this button look like?"--you ask "what is the user trying to achieve here?" and you hunt down the answer.
  • Validates by building: You are comfortable throwing together a quick, messy prototype to put in front of a client, and you are equally comfortable polishing the final UI to perfection.
  • Has impeccable taste: You understand that for our clients (fashion brands), "usable" is the baseline, but "beautiful" is the requirement.
Bonus points:
  • You have actually shipped a product (even a small one) from scratch using AI tools or Low-Code.
  • You understand the mechanics of Fashion/E-commerce (or you just really love the aesthetics of it).
Vantaggi
  • Autonomy. No micromanagement. We tell you what we need, you figure out how to make it cool.
  • Access to unlimited AI tools. $300K in Google AI compute grants. Tools to play with that most people can't access.
  • Direct impact. Your experiments become the content that helps sell our platform to billion-dollar fashion brands.
  • Real equity. You're joining at 8 people. Early employees get meaningful ownership.
In the application form you should submit:
1. A link to things you've created. Actual things, Experiments, Half-broken projects with an interesting idea, anything that shows how you think and operate.
2. A short note -- Why does this role excite you?
The interview process will work as follows: * Portfolio review (async) -- We look at what you sent.
  • Intro call (30 min) -- Mutual fit check. If we like you we give you a paid challenge
  • Experiment (paid, 3-5 days) -- You build your first mirco product. We see how you think.
  • Direct offer for a full-time job if we like the experiment
This is a on-site job offer. Do not apply if you are not willing to spend 3 days in office in person in Lugano.
