As Product Manager High Speed Portfolio (m/f/d), you shape the future of our turbocharger portfolio. You drive a lean, competitive product strategy, align customer roadmaps with internal development, and initiate new product activities based on market insights. Your Responsibilities:
Portfolio Strategy & Competitiveness:

  • Responsible for maintaining a competitive, lean, and customer-centric product portfolio.
  • Continuously assess portfolio performance and identify opportunities for consolidation, optimization, or expansion.
Customer Roadmap & Market Alignment:
  • Lead internal activities triggered by customer roadmap discussions, ensuring alignment between market demands and internal development priorities.
  • Act as the primary liaison between customer-facing teams (H1), development and engineering (H2), and technical teams (T) to ensure seamless translation of customer needs into product actions.
Product Development Initiation:
  • Initiate and define product development activities based on market trends, competitive analysis, and direct customer input.
  • Ensure new initiatives are commercially viable and aligned with long-term business objectives.
Governance & Ownership:
  • Serve as the owner of the PMS (product market strategy) High Speed product chapter, ensuring its relevance and completeness.
Major DCR (Design Change Request) Leadership:
  • Lead complex DCR projects with broad impact across multiple products or platforms.
  • Ensure timely and cost-efficient implementation of significant product changes.
  • Manage cross-functional DCR execution teams, coordinating with: sourcing and value chain teams to align on supply strategy; sales and Service to address commercial and other implications; design and engineering functions for technical feasibility; logistics for supply chain and distribution readiness.
Your Background:
  • Master's degree in Mechanical, Engine, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering; or equivalent technical fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in R&D, including system-level development in turbocharger or related domains. Experience in turbocharging, powertrain systems, or closely related technologies.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic project portfolio management.
  • Project Management experience, Certified Program Manager (PMP, MSP, or equivalent) preferred.
