Let's Talk about the Role
As Merchandising team, it is our mission to plan, define and execute the merchandising product strategy for the brand to achieve short- and long-term sales & brand growth objectives. You are taking part in the set up and development of supporting merchandising and sales tools. You love working cross functional to understand and improve tools and processes.
How You Will Make a Difference
In this role, you will work with Apparel Men team to coordinate data and information to determine new product and consumer needs, price points, strategic developments, to analyze and understanding of the market situation, product performances and producing the merchandising plan.
Primary accountabilities:
Line plan creation according to seasonal TGT, collection strategy and market needs ensuring good balance between carry over and newness
Build a solid and reliable price architecture monitoring GM% by product and costing across seasons
Collect quantitative and qualitative data to support the Merchandising Manager's analysis
Understand the needs of the target consumers and competitive environment by desk research and occasional field visits
Continuous follow up of the sales forecasts and performance of each product, channel and category to provide data to the Merchandising Manager's
Understand the product life cycle and SKU efficiency and support the management of this under the direction of the Merchandising Manager
Accountable for the line list build up, by style, colour and maintain the data accuracy
Support the process of seasonal sales-men sample order from selection up to market allocation
Maintain a close collaboration with the Design and Development team to confirm accuracy of the projects as well as provide further info when needed
Ensure that the brand Marketing team has the requested content
Ensure a constant evaluation of launched items by seeking market feedback and product performance check within directive set by Product Merchandising Managers
Establish a close collaboration with sales team and agents to get feedback and insights
Maintain and update the line plan and FLEX system
Support Product Line meetings as needed
Maintain the price architectures/ competitors analysis and milestones PPT always updated and ready for presentations
Skills for Success
A few years Merchandising experience in Fashion/ Apparel industry
Bachelor's degree required preferably in Business Management, Economics, Product Management or similar
Strong analytical and verbal and written communication skills.
Fashion lover able to identify and foresee trends with marked product sensibility.
Strongly Sales-oriented mindset and analytical skills.
Understands and embraces industry, consumer, and culture, on global level.
Advanced computer literacy and facility with Microsoft Office, Excel, Keynote/Power Point, Illustrator and FLEX system.
Organizational ability to facilitate multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain a cooperative team environment that promotes high performance standards and attainment of goals.
Resourceful, hands-on, and able to sense urgency.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
