Position

Louis Vuitton Switzerland is recruiting a Merchandiser (M/W/D) for the Central Europe region. As a Merchandiser, you will be a key ambassador for Louis Vuitton, responsible for curating and managing product assortments that drive store performance. You'll play an active role in supporting our stores to reach their highest potential in sales, service, and brand representation. By upholding the brand's values, you will help create an exceptional client experience and a cohesive store image. Your work will involve close collaboration with various teams and engagement with both clients and team members, ensuring a consistent Louis Vuitton experience.

Job responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be the following:

Store Partnership & Team Engagement:

Act as a product ambassador, motivating Team Managers and Client Advisors to embody the brand values and deepen product knowledge. Engage with the product community to identify business opportunities, gather valuable feedback from stores, and assist in managing product assortment in line with market needs. Collaborate with Field Coach Trainers and HR Teams on talent development initiatives to enhance team capabilities.

Zone Coordination:

Work closely with the Zone team to ensure successful product launches, clear communication, and seamless execution of merchandising strategies. Provide regular feedback to the Zone team and manage limited and seasonal product allocations to ensure alignment with market demand.

Business Development:

Define product priorities and monitor sales performance, setting targets to achieve market objectives. Coordinate with cross-functional teams on product launch plans, identify growth opportunities through in-store experiences and events, and lead the project management of product-related events with the Clienteling team.

Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare weekly merchandising and commercial activity reports, covering sales trends, top-performing items, and additional ad-hoc analyses as needed.

Learning & Development:

Partner with the Field Coach Trainer to deliver engaging product training sessions, enhancing product knowledge and skills across categories.

Market Awareness:

Maintain a strong understanding of market trends and competitors to ensure Louis Vuitton remains at the forefront of the industry.

Profile

For this position, the ideal candidate possesses:

Experience:

2-3 years of experience in merchandising or luxury retail is required, with prior experience in retail or product roles considered a significant asset.

Analytical Acumen:

Strong analytical skills coupled with a business-oriented mindset.

Industry Knowledge:

A keen understanding of fashion, current trends, and the competitive landscape.

Collaboration & Client Focus:

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and prioritize the client experience.

Communication:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective information conveyance and the ability to motivate others.

Leadership:

Proven leadership qualities, with a talent for inspiring and guiding team members.

Personal Attributes:
