About the role
Are you ready to lead game-changing projects? Barry Callebaut's Business Optimization Programs team is seeking a talented Project Manager to support some of the most impactful and innovative strategic initiatives within our Global Cocoa division. In this role you are responsible for driving and managing Barry Callebaut's strategic projects in a collaborative model across the global organization. As the Business Optimization Project Manager, you will be supporting the Program Manager in shaping transformation, ensuring global business alignment and driving change to support our growth agenda.
Key Responsibilities include
Drive and manage Strategic Business Optimization projects autonomously in alignment with project objectives, supported by the Program Manager
Collaborate with a large group of stakeholders on a day-to-day basis and align with Senior Management
Play a pivotal role in cross-functional teams to solve challenges and propose solutions
Perform data analysis and thoughtfully communicate insights to steer decisions
Design the future journey, organization and processes together with your business counterparts to optimize the way we manage our business
Define, track and ensure delivery against the Business Case to measure the value generated
Develop change plans and drive all aspects of change
Build and maintain a good network across the organization
About you
University degree: Masters in Economics, Business or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management in a multinational corporate and/or management consultancy environment
Prior experience in change management and business case realization
Proven experience in global alignment and stakeholder management
Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of credibility and dedication
Positive, proactive and hands-on working style
Cocoa, Chocolate and/or Commodities experience are a nice to have
Proven ability to conceptual thinking, analytical problem solving and solution creation
Ability to operate in a multicultural environment
Fluent knowledge of English together with other languages spoken in the Barry Callebaut world
Experience in global alignment and stakeholder management
Strong business acumen/solid business understanding
Ability to bring people around the table
Enjoy working in teams
Structured and solution oriented
Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
20% travel required - dependent on the phase of the project
