Tasks
Join our airline as a Public Affairs Associate and help shape aviation policy. You will support our strategic positioning on regulatory and public issues, working at the crossroads of aviation, politics, and stakeholder relations.
Research and monitor political developments relevant to aviation (using LARI as monitoring tool)
Draft briefings and position papers on regulatory and policy issues
Manage stakeholders and support meetings and events
Coordinate with internal stakeholders on policy-related topics
Develop and lead advocacy projects
Prepare presentations and communication materials
Document activities and manage schedules
Occasional Travel (approx. 5-10%)

Requirements
We offer a collaborative team environment in a leading airline, direct exposure to policymakers and industry stakeholders, and the opportunity to grow your expertise in public affairs, strategic advocacy, and aviation policy
University degree in law, international relations, communications, political science, or a related field
Several years of professional experience in public affairs, government relations, or policy analysis
Excellent knowledge of Switzerland's political system; knowledge of the aviation industry is an advantage
Ability to manage complexity and competing priorities
Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences
Diplomatic, articulate, well-organized and team-oriented personality
Fluency in German and advanced English skills; advanced knowledge of French is a strong advantage
Temporary position due to maternity leave until May 30th 2026. Extension might be possible.
